60 like my monitor I'd rather not defeat the benefit of having a 144Hz monitor. I'd prefer not to have to limit the framerate to 60 since assuming the game can take advantage of 120 fps vs. I've heard that v sync causes input lag so idk if I want to use it. I have it set to variable since I have both the in game and Nvidia control panel monitor refresh rate set to 120Hz.Įnabling v sync also seems to fix the problem.
The only choices are 30, 60, or variable. It seems to be fixed by changing the 'framerate' setting in the video settings from 'variable' to '60'. But usually towards the top half of the screen. It looks like a single horizontal pixelated line that shows up at a different height each time it shows up. I'm playing a little of Resident Evil Revelations and I'm pretty sure I'm seeing a bit of screen tearing.
